O’ville Pioneer

Village

O'ville is a collection of eight pioneer cabins that have been rescued and preserved to help tell the history of the region.

The cabins, which were brought to the village from surrounding towns and cities, tell the stories of the pioneers who worked the land and built the communities that make up the county. Protection from the storms that crossed the land, a warm escape from the cold of winter and the heat of summer, these cabins were where pioneers called home. Visitors will feel the pioneer spirit, see their artifacts and handwork, and come to understand how they lived and were able to survive.

Each cabin has a story.

O'ville is private property. Public is welcome to visit as long they respect the property - no litter, vandalizing, or straying too far from the village. If you would like a tour of the inside of the cabins, please call 435-749-0239 to schedule an appointment.
